Eligibility
Unbuilt architectural designs of any project type are eligible including purely theoretical projects and unbuilt client-sponsored projects (buildings, interiors, transportation infrastructure, monuments, etc. – all project types). Projects under construction or otherwise apparently assured of construction are not eligible. Submitters must full members of AIANH or students who are either from New Hampshire or attending school in New Hampshire. Students do not need to be members of AIANH.

There are no restrictions on the presumed or imagined location of projects. The intent is to invite unbuilt work by practicing design professionals, design educators, and design students from New Hampshire.

Judging
Jurors are James A. Sterling AIA, James A. Sterling Architects and Ellen Belknap AIA, SMRT Architects, both from Portland, ME; and Walter Arsenault AIA, Fraser Matson Architecture & Planning, Falmouth, ME.

The jurors’ decisions will be based on the materials submitted. The jury may create award tiers and categories as it deems appropriate. Awards will be given at the annual AIANH Awards banquet in January 2011.

Entry Fees and Registration
The entry fee is $75.00 for each submission.

Entrants should register their submission/s here. Payment may be made by credit card or check. Checks should be sent separately from the entries themselves. Entry fees are non-refundable.

Submission fulfillment
Entries must be complete, adhere to the submission format in the Call for Entries, include all supporting documents, and the entry fees must be paid. Projects that do not fulfill these requirements cannot be accepted.

Submission due date
Entries are due by 5 p.m. October 14, 2010 at the AIANH office, 310 Marlboro St., 2nd Floor, Keene, NH.

Submissions Exhibit
All submissions will be on view at the New Hampshire Institute of Art, Manchester, Dec. 1, 2010-Jan. 21, 2011, and displayed at selected sites throughout the year.

Awards Banquet
The Awards Banquet will be held January 21, 2011 at the NH Institute of Art in Manchester, NH. All entries will be on view and included in a Powerpoint presentation.
