Our office is searching for Project Architects to join our team who have experience designing and managing healthcare projects. The ideal candidate shall possess all aspects of architectural skills, including pre-design through construction administration experience. They shall have excellent skills necessary for working with clients, project team members, contractors, and Principals in Charge. They shall have strong design skills as well as excellent technical knowledge of how buildings go together, necessary for the implementation of the design while avoiding construction problems. Candidates shall have the skills required to effectively manage and coordinate production of quality construction drawings and specifications and have a good understanding of building codes and the project code review process. Candidates are expected to be passionate about architecture and the work of the firm, and participate in the achievement of the firm's strategic and professional goals. Job Requirements: Bachelor's of Architecture, 8-15 years of relative work experience, Architectural registration and LEED® accreditation a plus, Revit and Sketchup experience is preferred. Proficient skills in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and all Adobe applications, and have proven to be a quick learner at tasks or programs that are unfamiliar to me. Victim of the recession looking for a position in architectural firm. 13 years experience on a variety of projects for a firm in Beverly, MA: new residences, large and small residential renovations, commercial projects. Worked primarily as a Project Architect designing the building and completing full set of construction documents (details, structure, etc.). Worked as Project Manager for a 24-unit multi-family project on all phases until project completion. Currently working on 2 projects seeking LEED Certification, and I am allowed to finish my work. While working on LEED projects, completed LEED Credit Templates, required spreadsheets, and created very thorough Project Specifications for a LEED-NC project.
