AIANH will host its June chapter meeting at Beth Israel Lahey Health Exeter Hospital's award-winning building, Falzone Center for Cancer Care. We will hear from the design team and tour this facility. Nestled within existing landscaped courtyards and serving some of Exeter Hospitals’ most sensitive patients, this Cancer Center expansion project connects the mind, body and spirit to holistically leverage the healing powers of Nature. The new addition will be accessed from the existing 4-story entry rotunda through a new 1-story glass connector, which compresses the view outward to landscaped courtyards flanking either side. Curved forms in the architecture embrace both patient journey and the adjacent landscape.
Members will have time to socialize and network before the presentation and tour.
After the event, we can head into downtown Exeter for some refreshments.
